The veteran of nearly four decades in the senior management of prominent clubs in the metropolitan areas of St. Louis, Missouri and Detroit, Michigan, Joe Basso joined Naples Lakes after a similar club leadership position at Delaire Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida. The Michigan native is a graduate of The Hospitality School at Michigan State University and Fellow of the Club Management Association of America, attaining the Master Club Manager designation, currently one of only 23 club managers to hold that distinction and one of seven who are active club managers. He is a Florida certified Community Association Manager and a member of the Club Management Association of America for over 30 years. Mr. Basso has authored several industry publications, including An Anthology on Club Management.
